EXACTLY! Thats what ive been trying to say all along. You know, a handy category on the electronic reporting system might be including a "young doe" category. That way you could predict population trends better. Young doe only having 1 fawn verses older doe most likely having 2.

Numbers are way down where I hunt. Im seeing about 1/4 of what I should be seeing for this early in the season. The creek flooded pretty bad this summer, and theres a big patch of standing corn on the other side of the interstate, so its hard to say where they are at.

as long as the snow stays soft and doesn't get "crunchy" it should make for an easy stalk. Its alot easier to spot them with all this white.
