    Brassicas and oats

One reason would be different planting times for optimum deer usage. Brassicas should be planted end of July and Cereal grains around Labor Day. Another reason would be that the agressive growth of brassicas would eventually shade out your cereal grain. You might be able to plant brassicas and...

    Bear Pics

Actually the pictures were taken over a week period. There are at least 2 different bears might be 4 different bears. Pictures 1 thru 4 are the same bear. This bear is older than 2 1/2 as I have gotten pictures of it for 5 years now. I believe it might be a sow, but have never seen cubs with it...

    Food Plot Tour

It has been a while since I posted any food plot pics. All of my food plots are done with an ATV. Even with the hot dry weather I have been fortunate to get enough rain to have my plots look half way decent. In this pic there are soybeans planted on left. On the right is a 4 year old clover plot...

    ATV Sprayer

I have a 35 gallon pull behind Fimco that I have had for 7 years. I put in about 6 to 8 acres of food plots a year and have only had to replace a spring on one of the arms. The main thing is to thoroughly flush sprayer after each use and winterize it after you are done using it for the season.

    Flaccid GFR's

If you had a good frost after the Goundhog radish had developed it would cause the radish to become soft.

Interesting Situation, what do you think.

Just a thought. I live in Wisconsin and our DNR has what they call a "Wall of Shame". It is a display that they have for Deer Shows. It is of bucks that have been poached or taken illegally. Maybe this head will be mounted and displayed. Just a thought.

    Messed Up Doe

I hadn't checked my cams in over a month. All the cams were dead when I checked them on Monday. Going thru the pics I saw this. I don't know what caused this but the deer looks in pretty good shape otherwise. What ever it is it is growing fast. In a couple of the pics it looks like it is...

    Dbltree's Dream

Congrats Paul on a awesome Buck. I can't think of any one more deserving. With all the habitat work that you do on your land I have a feeling that there will be a few more bucks of that caliber taken on your land.
