    Food Plots or Baiting?

Amen on that. The same people who are complaining about it being a rich mans sport are the ones planting food plots. Spending thousands of dollars a year to hunt. High-tech bows. Rangefinders. Mules. Food plots. I could go on. These deer aren't going starve. What happened to when you and your...

Sooooo, THA4. Nanny. You both said baiting and food plots are 2 different things. So, can you tell me when this law comes in to play? Youre saying this actually isn't a law. Just a misprint? Im confused. If a person plants an acre of beans, corn, turnips, or special clover in a remote timber...

    Food Plots or Baiting?

Then what kinda scenario would this fit in? If a person plants an acre of beans, corn, turnips, or special clover in a remote timber area with no intentions of harvest and for the purpose of attracting wildlife, that has to fit the definition of "BAITING" set forth in the reg. From what...

    Food Plots or Baiting?

Hmmm. I've seen quite a few post on here about people planting turnips, clover, etc. and not harvesting it. They do it to attract deer. They are breaking the law? Ive seen farmers who hunt that load one of their grain cars full of corn. Park it along the side of a field. Accidently spill a...

I wish I could say the same. Last week I seen what you guys are seeing now. I drove up to Michigan Sunday. Seen alot of groups of does. Not one buck chasing a doe. Drove back Tuesday. Same thing. Hunted today and seen 4 does eating in the cut bean field with a small 8 and a spike buck. Seems...

    All Day Hunts-Staying motivated

    Illinois Bucks

Some are saying this year there has been more 200"+ deer killed during Bow season than ever before. They are just stacking up every day. Illinois must be doing something right. I think part of it might of been that there was still alot of corn in during 1st gun season last year...

1st Real Buck with a Bow

Yep. Lived in Fort Madison for a few years. I hunted with a buddy and his grandpa near highway 61 between Fort Madison and Wever until they decided to jack the Out-of-state tags to 500 dollars+. I live a mile from Iowa, at least give me half price!? Again, great buck.

Id like to know how many pounds they lose after a day of chasing a doe. His neck was probably alot bigger a few days ago.

    On the move

Got off work at 330 and took the long way home. Bucks are chasing does hot and heavy right now! Seen 7 or 8 bucks in 20 miles of driving. Couple in the timber chasing but most in the wide open fields.
