    Anyone seeing Velvet bucks yet?

Just curious who all is seeing velvet bucks yet? Saw a dandy of a buck last night at the edge of the drive near my new clover plot with atleast 8" of velvet already grown. Going to be putting the cameras up here real soon!

    Beginner food plot

A brassica mix wouldn't be a bad idea, plant it in July. And since brassica's take very little effort to grow, would be a great plot!

    ATV values

Really depends on what you are looking for in an ATV, what brand, year, add ons. I'm a frequent trader on CL so I might be able to add some input depending upon what you want!

    Fort Dodge Hunting

Former ICCC grad myself. Hunting is decent up there. Ok amount of birds, definitely different from our southern iowa style hunting of big timbers and draws. Everything is very flat and can be difficult without studying topographic maps alot to find good places along the river to hunt. I always...

    First Bow Bird

After only getting an hour of sleep last night. I had to force myself to go out this morning. And man did it pay off. Got into my blind nestled into an inside corner of a hickory timber about 550 and set my decoys up. I heard a gobble off in the distance gave a few yelps on my box call...

    Name that plant/weed??

It is a clover plot correct, I bought the rackmaster elite for it. It consists mainly of durana white and patriot white clovers, some chicory and I would have to look what else it consists of.

    Name that plant/weed??

Planted my first plot first week of April and I am starting to have some stuff come up. Being the great farmer I am, I need some help identifying what is what! I have a few suspicions of weeds, but not exactly sure, I am definitely no expert.

    getting into bow hunting

Welcome to a great and very frustrating sport lol. Be prepared to get addicted quick. Don't go spending a ton of money on arrows. I shoot the Scheels rogue 400 spine arrows and have had nothing but success with them. No need to drop $90 on a half dozen arrows. I'm attaching a link to what I...

    Starting new plots. Question...?

The very FIRST THING I WOULD DO is a soil test. See what kind of ground you have to work with first. Gonna default some of your work if you have a sub par or acidic pH level...
