skyleralan - I saw an absolute pig still holding along highway 2 monday night west of bedford down in the ditch. I tried honking at him to see if it'd scare his rack off but it didn't work! Keep an eye out on the highway for him!

I'd say 95% of my bucks are still holding, as of last Saturdays card pull. Had one old 10 that has had a half rack for well over a week, and only one other shed buck. Everything else holding from spike to 8 points.

I'm not sure if I would like that. Fear of bending the bracket or any other structural damage. The ones that I am personally familiar with each have their own hole drilled in the bucket and mount with a bolt like whats stated above by flugge. They seem pretty durable.

Agree^ Can anyone provide any information on what nebraska does for their "farm use" vehicles. I notice they have many trucks that have farm truck plates on them. What does it cost to register a vehicle for farm use in nebraska? Is there a reason Iowa hasn't adopted this?

I've used them on a couple skidloaders removing tree stumps from the ground, removing a basement foundation from a control burn on a house, and digging out and moving large rocks. Never broke one, or had any problems.

Completely agree. Sadly enough, raising the gas tax is always the answer to everything. Our state (like others) blows millions of dollars ever year on stupid things, some that completely go to waste for lack of completion or activity. I live in Union county and they are proposing a tax raise to...

Does anyone in the Bondurant area know who would breed labs? From what I gathered they had chocolate lab pups mainly and a greenhouse on site. I have an 8 month old that came from a breeder in the bondurant area and registered the dogs. I bought my pup second hand and never got any paper work...

Pretty cool aerial pictures, hopefully both will be target bucks next year. I have quite a few pictures of a bucks sparring on cam, even have one of a fork buck locking up with a small 10 lol.

I think this will be around about as long as the January High Power. We don't need 1/3 of our year to harvest deer. Oct-Jan is plenty long. Sadly, I feel that this all revolves around $$$, government sees another way to cash in on hunters harvesting deer.
