    Need your help/opinion.

Re: Need you help/opinion. I like the idea of smaller tags. Don't like the idea of what I am understanding from your post. You say all tags & lic. will be printed on one printer. Are all tag & lic. going to be mailed to us? If so how would this be a cost benefit? Is it all done online? if so...

Looking for a chocolate lab...no kidding this time

Breeding has alot to do with it, however I think you get out what you put in. My chocolate came from a gun-shy sire and bitch that had never been hunted. She is one of the hardest hunting dogs I've seen. IMO, if the dog is for you as a hunting partner and then as a house/farm dog, I'd get the...

    woodworker needed

I can't help but notice that the toy symbol (pictured above) is not on the auto. Did it fall off? Do you need some super glue to put it back on? That is how it is attached isn’t it?

    Slick Tricked Bison (pics added)

They are intimidating, I got really close to a couple out in Yellowstone, on a path with my little girl by my side. They will show you how small a man really is. If you run out of freezer room let me know. Cool pics and congrats.

    Crazy Buck

I think pen raised also. I know with goats and sheep that if you "play" with them they will "play" back, almost like a greeting sometimes. It's weird that he has already shed one side. Stress could play a roll in that but it's still really early.

    Antler Drop?

In my area (SE Iowa)from what I've seen it usually happens in mid to late Feb. However I killed what I thought was a nice doe three years ago in mid Jan. and it turned out to be a shed buck, and that same year in the same area I had trail cam pics of bucks still holding in April. Crazy stuff

    Never say die !!!!!

What? my big brother getting burnt out on hunting? Say it ain't so! It can't hunrt too bad with the 185' hog you deflated in early muzz. Keep an eye on your ground this year, don't want your bucks to suddenly move off your timber again. Stick with it, maybe gun season will push a couple biggens...

    Gun hunting ethics question......

Well said Bowmaker. Before you bowhunters slam all gun hunters, how did you start hunting? Don't lump all gunhunters togeter, like others have said, there are bad apples in every group, bow, muzz, shotgun, duck. I've spent the last three evenings in a stand with my daughter trying to fill her...

    Speaking of Steaks?

From pages 12,13 of hunting regs: Possession and Storage of Game and Hides You cannot possess game or furbearing animals or their pelts, except deer venison, for more than 30 days after the close of the season for that species. A person in lawful possession of deer venison taken with a valid...

    Gun Rights

Obama has said that he will not take our guns, I beleive him on that. Not because he doesn't want to, but because I don't think he could get it done and make it stick. He has also said that he waits to ban ammo that can defeat a policemans vest. On the suface that sounds good and the libs will...

First bow kill and first post

Congrats Nolan, Great first bow kill on your own. I like the fact that you made Perry think you needed his help in tracking that buck when you really just wanted him to help drag it and get his truck dirty carrying it home smart move
