If it helps, the photo on this thread is another example of one I can see in preview mode, but not in photo mode on my Android app. http://iowawhitetail.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39854

Same here. For the developers - when you re-open the app after the "crash", everything works again.

    I can't stop!!!!

This might be a good idea for a post on IW. Members can supply a trailcam photo of a buck they have taken and actual scores can be saved in a separate location. I think these scores would be more reliable.

    Problem with family

Tell him you are glad he enjoys spending time on the property and is welcome to use it whenever he wants. Then, show him the nightime trail cam photo of sasquatch that you just pulled. My guess is that he may not even know what photoshop is at his ripe age... Good luck whatever you decide...

    Ozonics

For me personally, I decided early in this thread that I would not purchase or use this product. Not because I think it is unsafe or that it does not work, but I actually hope that a mature buck that is downwind will smell me. That is part of the challenge of this sport isn't it? That is why...

    Tree tubes/shelters

I am definitely not a tree tube expert, but I can share a few tips/experiences that might help others out: -I no longer use the bird nets. If you leave them on, they will distort the top of the tree (at least oaks trees). Since I stopped using them, I have not found one tube with a bird nest...

    Tree tubes/shelters

I am glad you asked the question because I was not aware they made more than one style so I checked the TreePro site. These are the miracle tube model which have no seam and do not have the corogated appearance that the regular tree pro shelters have. I use the 5-foot vented style that come in...

    Tree tubes/shelters

I will also put in a vote for the tree pro protectors from Mike. $250 for 100 tubes is tough to beat and he can ship real cheap. The new design has curled tops and bottoms so the bottom holds the shape better. I have started re-using some after 5 years and have only had to replace a few...

    Iowa Farmer Kills 150,000 Fish.

I thought I used the sarcasm icon, so sorry if my comment was interpreted as negative on CRP. I have 3 CRP programs on my farm right now which is whay Cooter's comment caught my eye. IMO we need a lot more land enrolled in CRP and it seems like sportsman (vs. cash crop and cattle farms)...

    Iowa Farmer Kills 150,000 Fish.

Yeah, like establishing CRP, which is almost the same as pumping large amounts of hog manure into a field.

    Turkey Trouble

Try putting a few of these signs around the plot  Seriously though, I would imagine that you only need to keep them out a few weeks before the plants are no longer attractive to the turkeys and you will be in the clear. I like the coyote decoy idea.

Problem with cedars from state nursery

This is very disappointing after not get my cedar order last year due to deer damage at the nursery. If they do send them and they are planted, can this spread to existing cedars in the area?

    Herbicide for cedars?

I don't think you want to use oust the first year. I had really good luck with planting the seedlings and following up with spray within a week. The mix I used the first year was 3.3 quarts of prowl (Pendulum) and 1.5 quart of Princep per acre.

    Iowa Bowhunter Survey

I should have participated the year I was sent the invitation, because I haven't gotten a card in the mail since. This survey would be a great application for a smart-phone app. When you see a deer, coyote, etc., hit the appropriate button and the DNR gets live date/time/count data. You could...
