Give it a try Mike, I think you will like it since it's mainly just a close range thing, not that you can't shoot a hundred yards though if your good with a handgun. :way:
Exactly what happened in the Plant and I don't see it changing in there ever again. Hunting outside of there I never saw much around here either and most were the same deer day after day. I think it's time to pull in the reigns on the doe harvest even if the DNR wants to sell the licenses. :thrwrck:
COOL! Let's all go hunt Nebraska! :D I think a lot of the problem IS the thought of people reading stuff on here and then horning in other peoples hunting areas and it can be rightly so since there used to be plenty of info on here. I won't tell anyone other than a few people where I hunt...
45 yards is a good shot with a pistol, congrats. I have a Ruger GP100 in a .357 with a red dot sight on it I use and have shot 2 does with it. I will carry it with me late muzzleloader season again this year and try for a buck if I get the chance, I love hunting with a pistol.
I bet it would never be prosecuted if he was caught doing it though. It would have to be proven the combine didn't just dump it. Personally I don't care how someone else hunts as long as they do it legally. I just know how I prefer to hunt and brought this subject up to see what everyone else...

What got me thinking Kaare is I was watching a show that a guy from Illinois planted corn plots and then mowed strips in it all leading to the stand site like spokes on a wheel so the deer would follow them right to the stand. As you know if you deer hunt, deer follow the easiest route to...
