    Looking to buy trailcam....

I had a moultrie and it lasted one year. But I have also had the same problem with other cameras. Hopefully the technology is improving to make them last longer!

    What do you think.... 180"??

Re: What do you think.... 180"?? If you look at the bulbs on top of a lot of his points, in my experience those deer have a bit of growing left to do. I will be curious to see what he looks like in a few weeks yet.

    What to plant.....HELP!

My brother does have a small tractor and equipment to go with it along with a 4 wheeler. Anyone tried planting corn/beans with clover (anything) between the rows? I thought I heard a guy at Scheels talking about that one day.

    What to plant.....HELP!

There is alfalfa near one of the plots. What brands have you had success with?

    What to plant.....HELP!

I am going to plant a couple of food plots for the first time this year. I live in SE South Dakota and was wondering what would be the best thing to plant. There is corn and beans everywhere, so I would like to plant something different since they can get these two about anywhere. I want to...

    Best Trail Cam

What is the best trail camera currently on the market? I have tried Multries and Stealth Cams and they work for a year and then following fall when it comes to use them they don't perform and I'm REALLY tired of it. Unfortunately I have read reviews of people complaining the same thing about...

    Scrapes

I've never had very good luck making my own scrapes. What are some good tips out there so I can get my camera set up on some. Make a scrape and use a dripper?

    Checked the Cuddeback today!!

When it looks like they have bulbs on the end of their horns like the first one they are not done growing. I had a deer like that last year and he grew a lot. I also had a deer on film the same time that was bigger, but didn't have the bulbs. The second didn't grow another inch from late...

    Stealth Cam ?

I always use the 6 volt, so that's not it either. Even when I test walking in front of it, it just isn't picking up movement like it should/used to. How do some of you that make homebrews work your triggering device? Can it be replaced/improved (maybe even for greater distance)?

    Stealth Cam ?

I have had a couple of Stealth Cams (presently - STC ADX)and it always seems that the trigger distance is bad when I put them out the following year. Anyone else have this problem? Stealth Cam gave me the name of a company to send it in to fix it, but they want $115 which I think is crazy...

    Narrow buck

Do you have a pic from him in hard horn from last year? I am trying to judge some deer I have been seeing that I think will turn out nice.

    Moultrie Game Spy D40-digital

I have an older one that I set over a lick and it worked great, although I have gotten white pics before too especially during mid-day(just a few). For a situation like this in the summer when they are stopping for a little treat for a few minutes, I wouldn't think of having a different setup...

    Mineral site ?

I just started using some last year and they hit it hard! It is a great way to get summer pics of deer in the area because they will eventually hit it and once they do, they always come back for more! It is also fun to see how they grow over the summer. A few weeks ago I was out walking...

truck and trailer full of deer

There is a difference between taking a pic with a few good deer to taking a pic with 30 piled in the back of a truck. You know there are ways to still take a respectful pic with that many deer.

truck and trailer full of deer

I'm not ashamed of my sport, I am proud to show off a good deer or two that I have harvested.........respectufully. I guess the way you are displaying your deer to me is tasteless and I don't see the positive picture from it. What respect are you giving to these animals? Ghost, not needed to...

truck and trailer full of deer

Well, congrats on the deer, but come on. Did you honestly have to be the only one to bring them to the locker? Hunting gets a bad rap from people the way it is, how are you helping the sport out by having this huge pile of deer hanging out all over your pickup? It doesn't, and pictures like...

    Stealthcams

I was the same as you when I first started. I bought two 35mm because I didn't want to pay the extra money for a digital. Believe me, after you start getting pics you will be addicted and will easily spend that remaining $50 on film in probably a month. Buy a cheap digital. I got great pics...
