Was just looking to expand my beetle colony as it is rapidly growing and was wondering if anyone has or knows of anyone that has a free old nonworking chest freezer. Preferably 7-10 cubic feet. I have searched craiglists and will be keeping my eye out at the dump but thought I would ask anyways...

Giant deer it is.......I am not saying I know anything for sure, but I had heard that there might be some suspicion about wether it was taken legally or not. BUT that comes with nearly every giant buck. We will see how it pans out in the future I am sure.

I am not sure if the Capture IR is available yet or not. Some places say yes and some no, but I have yet to see pictures or hear anything about it. IMO I always thought the IR Cuddeback pictures were kinda low quality.

It is a little more expensive than 777 (almost double the price) but well worth it IMO.

Not sure about them, but we use energizer rechargables......and they lasted quite a while. We put them out around mid September and they just died in the last day or two of November. You can pick up a 12 pack at Sams for $12, so you might spend $16 in batteries on one camera a year.

From what I understand Teeroy, you do not want to put a old dried up skull in there, yet not a wet one. They say if you have a fresh deer kill to cut most of the junk off and put it in front of a fan for a couple days so it drys out a little. I guess I would soak it for a few days then let a fan...

GOt some good season left, and sounds like it was an awesome encouter. As far as taking or not taking the shot. If you could see his vitals through a "few" blades of brass, at ten yards I probably would have shot. But if you could just see his back and knew that his vitals were just below but...
