I agree with dbltree. Yeilds will be much higher if planted seperately. I would split your plot in half, plant the corn on one side, and the beans on the other and then rotate them each year. It will be more cost effective in the long run considering that you will end up with more food and...

Forget the pines... plant cedars, hedge, and locust for bedding cover. I don't think there is a set rule on how much a seller will move off the asking price. Every peice of land is different and every seller is different. Some may move a lot, and other not much at all.

Overgrown pasture is some of my favorite habitat for holding big bucks. I'm probably the only person who purposely plants hedge. Hardwood timber is great, but there is something about tagled thickets of hedge, locust, and briars that big bucks seem to be attracted to. Letting pasture grow up...

You are correct. I checked my cat in last year without a fur harvesters license, and just explained that I trapped it on my land. Man that is one awesome cat.:way: I caught an average female last year...not near that big, but she still looks nice mounted.

I can't see the pic, but congrats. I struck out this year. All the mud played havoc on my dirt trapping. This would have been the year for conibears or snares.
