Sounds like the ticket, unfortunately photobucket is blocked here at work and this is my only connection to the net. Is there anywhere on the site that runs through an explanation of how to utilize the IW photo upload process?....something like what Muddy had posted on the previous format would...
That's incredible to have that amount of history with one animal, and truly is a testament to their ability to survive. Canadian winters have thrown him the worst and yet he manages to eek out a living.....truly awesome. Thanks for sharing
I've never been a huge contributor to the site but in my opinion the new format and lack of directions on how to post pictures has been the biggest blow to the site. I tried to upload photo's not too long ago and it said that they had to be approved by moderators. Well I don't know if they...
I'm in the process of training my 3 month old lab for sheds. I started my pup BB, by introducing a shed to her everytime before she ate.....held shed up to her nose and stated "shed". I did that for the first few weeks that I got her home. I then started stashing sheds around the house and...
Thanks for all of your input! Gunrunr you're probably right about actually trying them on....I tend to be an impulse internet shopper, but I think I'll run to the city this weekend so I can try a few on. Thanks again fellas.
I've been using a lineman's belt for the last 15 years for hunting and I've been reluctant to switch over to a harness system. After reading about some close calls and hearing how dangerous the linemans belt is I've decided to bite the bullet and get a harness.
What do you guys use and what...
I had the same problem when I pulled mine the other day. The best way to clean them all out is to throw the cam in the freezer for an hour or so....they all fall right out frozen stiff. I've heard that cinnamon will work and also a dryer sheet stuck inside the cam but I've yet to try either...
I haven't got squat on the cam yet....too much going on so I haven't been able to set any cams on my good farms. Had the cam out for a week on a mineral lick next to my house and ended up with a spike, some does and a cam full of ants :( . I agree though on the lack of activity around here...
I agree with the other statements...lots to be gathered from doubletree's and daver's posts. I think the pockets will accomplish what you want with 2 1/2 and younger bucks that haven't quite figured out how to fully use their noses. The bales could definitely be used for a funnel along a field...
I'm with Muddy. In doing the math an arrow that is traveling 320 fps on a 40 yard shot will hit the target in .375 seconds. An arrow traveling at 280fps will get there in .42 seconds. In my opinion .05 seconds difference isn't going to mean jack in terms of less reaction time for the deer. I...
I grew up hunting my grandpa's 40 and I currently own 21 acres. My 21 acres isn't my only ground to hunt and I think that is why it produces alot of action for such a limited space. If you own thousands of acres you can afford to screw up and hunt wrecklessly and it will still take a good...
I just read this last night. Helluva buck! I'd say he was shot in his core fall area, seems to me that where they summer has little to do with where they live after the velvet disappears.
