    Rut Gear

I just bought the jacket and must say although it is a bit pricey the fit is great. It is fairly lightweight, with most UA gear, but my favorite part is the form fitting sleeves. Not bulky at all which IMO makes this ideal for bowhunting. Can't wait to actually put it to use this year.

looking for hunters in eastern iowa (QCA)

I agree I think some public land is actually pretty nice. However the issue is finding a spot with limited hunting pressure. The wma's are nice large acreage parcels but the often are packed and have a bunch of people walking through on you. I have found a few spots off the radar that look...

I am interested in trapping next year

    Lighted nock recommendations???

I use nockturnals. I used the red lumenoks for years but I shoot carbon express hunters and found that I has to lightly rough up/etch the inner portion of my arrow shaft in order for the coil to make solid contact. I found them to be super bright, but definitely a PITA. I only shoot nockturnals now

    Iowa private land needed

Also, I have done the public hunting and inner city hunts. These are ok, but the purpose of this thread is to try to locate a member who would either like to swap a hunt or discuss a possible lease agreement.
