I hunt public land in MN ever year during the muzzleloader season as it is the only place we can take our buddies out to do some deer drives without pissing off land owners. We typically have some success, but at least 1/2 the spots are deerless. If you walk far enough you can find deer, but...
My favorite:
Hey honey what ya say we go to the bedroom and... "Not now I am starving I just got home from work."
Afer Dinner:
Hey honey..., "Not now I am too full."
As I lay on my pillow, Hey baby..., "Not now I am too tired, you should have asked me earlier!"
Can't go wrong with a long Range hunter imo. Only drawback would be they are slightly heavier than many other mzls. I know several other muzzleloaders actually require you to break in the barrel with several shots sometimes more than 50. The knights shot consistently great right out of the...
Might have to cut up a white sheet to drape over it and do some late season muzzleloader/bowhunting out of it. Anybody tried this before with any success. Not sure it the deer would get close enough for the bow
Re: 2Fitty Stew
Just finished some venison backstraps marinaded in worcestershire, olive oil, salt, pepper and montreal steak seasoning. Cooked to a medium rare and combined with some roasted garlic cream a of mushroom soup all topped off with some busch light. Can't beat that meal! Even...
Heading to Cabelas tomorrow to purchase a blind. Which is the better blind the Matrix or the Dark Horse and why? They are the same price. I will be primarily bowhunting turkeys and deer out of it. Any help would be appreciated.

I would love to hunt most anything but would really like to see the landscape in Alaska whle chasing moose. Elk would be a blast as well. I need to win the lottery!
Lost Binos, after some thinking I decided I must have dropped them when putting my hunting equip. back in my car on a rocky field drive. Drove back the next day (40miles) to get them and ran the s.o.b.s over. Bought a more expensive replacement pair and dropped them out of my stand the first...
It is hard to say if it will spoil, but if he isn't dead yet you will likely push him and never find him. I would probably wait until morning, but if you do go and the blood doesn't look good right away in the first 15 yards I would leave and come back in the morning. I shot one a few weeks...
I think it is sad as well. As a science teacher I have about 50 scalpels in my classroom that are readily available to any student that decides to get them as the lock on the door is broke, the staff lounge is always open and is full of knives, and the janitors office contains all sorts of...
I have had a lot of boots, but Muck are the best IMO. They are light and feel like shoes, warm for cold season sits, waterproof and knee high to get across streams or rivers, scent free rubber, and pretty durable.
