so I was in Scheels and against basically all of your opinions I bought the buck growler, and I will be returning it as soon as I get back to Scheels, I could have made the same sound with a pop corn fart, but I may want to be wearing some scentlock and have a bottle of scent cover handy.

i have the buck roar and have had some luck. im in a great rut area but only used it about 15 to 20 times and only 1 response.

I was talking to a co worker today he mentioned something about a buck growler. He tried to explain it to me and I went to the MAD calls web site and watched a video on it but I want to hear your opinions on this.

I would watch the dvd honker talk, they have great instructions on how to call and it also has alot of footage of how real geese actually sound together. i think its important to understand how geese react to each other in different situations.

Update, the corn, beans, sorghum have popped and are looking good! They are about 2 inches tall. And we have are getting some good rain today. Pics will be coming.

Well I planted my food plot on Saturday. It included corn, beans, oats, some biologic and sorghum. It also rained about an inch so hopefully things will turn out. I will be posting picks when it starts to take off.

Thanks guys, I have made my decision to go ahead and plant the corn, beans and oats and some 6 year old Bio Logic, the biologic was free also. Thanks for all of your opinions, I will keep you informed and take some pics throughout the growing process.
