Got mine Thurs the 10th..Coyote barked at the moon at about 5:35 and the gobblers went crazy. Had 4 different toms gobbling off the roost. After Fly down, had 1 in the field 200 yards to my left gobbling his head off. 1 in front of me working the ridge back and forth. Then 1 hen came out, then 2...

So I always wanted to get my hunt on video...so I set up my trail cam and got set up..Finally here comes 2 Gobblers and they were close....only problem is I didn't think of getting clear opening for shot, since I was hidden in brush pile...and then it was too late and my shot drew feathers but...

I read in an article once that when there is a full moon, turkeys will roost deeper in the timber versus the edge when it is not full moon. Not sure on validity of that, but who cares as long as you get a chance to get one!

Yes it is true! 28 scorable points and the green score is 231 7/8.. Shotgun opening day..It is called the Wal Mart buck because it was watched and seen by many on edge of town next to and in back of Wal Mart. Huge article on front page of Daily Times Herald today.

Well, I posted trail cam pics of a nice buck that I had hopes of getting a crack at. Turns out that one of the other guys that hunts the place, beat me to it. Oh well, congrats to him on a nice one! Now, let GOLIATH come on out!
