Congrats to ALL of you that guessed 3.5 year old. That is correct. I've been watching him since he was a small 7-point as a 1 1/2. Last year I think he did the same as the buck in the Broke clean trail cam post. I beleive he busted the one side off early in velvet and it grew back as a 10-12...
I researched it also and couldn't find any mention of a minimum score to be considered a non-typical. I was sure that a B&C scorer once told me that a non-typical needed to have at least 10 inches but that was years ago.
I did however find out that Pope and Young will not allow bucks in...
I just noticed that if you want a sneek peek you can click into my profile then go to my webpage and view them in webshots folder. I'm not sure how you attach them directly to the post yet,(sorry about that) but if someone can do so from where the pics are now go ahead. Otherwise I will have to...
I think I've got a contender!! It scores nearly 12 and thats just the height. I'll get the pics posted as soon as I figure out how to. Just curious does anybody remeber what the winning score was last year?
First off I'd like to CONGRATULATE TONY!! Thats one awesome buck. My question is with two adults in the blind and they supposedly knew or had a suspiscion he was going to show that night, why didn't they have a video cam along to tape the hunt? Heck both of them should have had video camera's...
I had one set up in the timber and had 5-6 does coming in. When they saw the decoy they turned and ran off from the way they came so i never used one again. Also had no luck using on the edge of a field, but other guys i've talked to swear every year they get bucks to come in but i think most of...
I was thinking of buying the can for this falls hunting season. I was wondering what kind of luck you guys had wiyh it? If so what kind of sequence did you use and what time of the year should you start using it?
I noticed that also. Over the last two nights I've watched 8-9 different bucks in a clover patch. Before that had only seen a couple small ones. It's picking up and the next few weeks should be awesome.
I take mine off. I usually have my quiver set in such a way that i have one loose arrow that can be easily grabbed(quietly)if a second shot would be presented.
