Being 6'3" a bit taller than your average I wanted a taller seat post.. Found some about 2" longer, Now my knees don't bend so much and my butt doesn't hurt while on stand either.. (All of mine are the newer thinner ones)

Have you actually confirmed the lease with the tenant? It wouldn't be the first time some outfitter tried to pull a fast one. Plus if you had a lease, even not a written one, I am thinking you have a minimum of 30 days to vacate after notice. Check it out.

Banging the butt of a gun on the bench should ought to help everything "Fly" decent. Can't imagine it not. Come on would you do that with a rifle or a new bow... The 870 barrel is easy enough to remove, take it off clear the jam and respect you firearm like you should.

I use pop up blinds but as nanny does I choose carefully where I put it. I figure if I have to camo a camo blind, I'll just build a brush pile and call it good. Maybe we need a ghille pop-up, in various shades of camo. Maybe they can make it reversible or a different pattern on each side????

Put it another way,, If you are going to build a brush blind, why put a tent inside???

I guess I wonder the other direction.. If you are going to brush it in,, why use a blind?

The bell curve of the breeding period for deer starts in Sept and goes into Mar. The peak as we know it has about 30% of the does breeding in a two week period, but roughly 5% will breed as soon as Sept or as late as Mar.

If you look at what I call the usable platform,, That is, in front of the post and between the cables, the difference is so small I cannot believe it would matter to anyone hunting from a stand.. I am 6'3" and 240 with size 12.. Never have missed carrying the extra metal around since I switched...
