If you have some public land that has some good food on it. Should be fine. Mature bucks sure wont take much pressure this time of year.

**Raises Hand** sweaty stinky feet here... Muck artic sport boots for me... merino wool liner socks and heavy wool socks over them... warm during late muzzy usually (4 hrs sitting at 0 still makes for cold feet) trying some boot blankets over them this season and see if I can last longer.

I am guessing you hit it in the loin and missed lungs. Ive been shooting the old style Muzzy 3 blade 100 grains for 3 years now, haven't lost one yet (I hate to even type that)... if ya hit them the Muzzy will take em out!
