i am from se iowa as well friday i seen 3 bucks 8 140" other 2 were dinks...saturday after noon i seen 130" 8 pointer other then that there little ones and i know there bigs one in my area ive got them on camera. i guess thats why they call it hunting and not killing...

i hunt on state ground and i had my tree stands up early september then i talk to some guys that hunt out there to and they said is ur tree stand and i said yes then they said well i have just north of u and west of u...so i go looking 1 day its 125 yards north of me and 150 yards west of...

I have one tree stand between 2 crp fields that they use as a bedding area and another tree stand set up on the edge of a field that is loading with scraps and rubs.

ive seen alot of small bucks but no shooters...ive got nice bucks on camera but havent seen any yet...should i relocate my stands ive seen 7 differnt little bucks not a hole lot of does just a hand full or so...should i move or stay?????

i got in the stand about 3:45 put my bow on the hook and looked to my right already had a buck coming in little guy...just a few minutes later had another little guy come in from behind me had one side broken off...then nothing but rain intill 5:30 seen one more little guy...lots of little ones...

i rattled on wed. no response i personaly think where about a week early just my thought on it...

im new to hunting in iowa can u bow hunt why muzzle loader season is going on...
