    scope mounting

I've always left it loose, shouldered the gun on a rest, and adjusted for eye relief before tightening down. Don't know if that's right but it works for me. Sent from my iPhone using IW

    120 vs 150

The thread about bh209 and 777 has brought up a question. I currently shoot 777 pellets at 150gr a pop. I do so because I have the Nikon Omega scope with BDC reticle. I also shoot a 250gr bullet because the scope calls for it. Would you think I could use bh209 at 120gr and archive the same...

    Ladder stand lock

Looking for suggestions on ladder stand locks. I've used chains and cables but keep getting stands stolen. I'd like to figure something out to keep people from being able to climb up the ladder. Sent from my iPhone using IW

    I never learn

For the second time this week I have had a shooter walk in on me setting up in my stand. Both times were within minutes of me climbing and both caught me off guard.

    scents and lures

I use tink products regularly with decent results. I did fall for a gimmic last year and bought a couple cans of A-Ways scent string. Waste of money IMO and made more of a mess than I cares to deal with.

    Nocturnals

I went to scheels to restock my supply of tracer nocks and was talked into trying these. Sure glad I did, I don't miss having to turn the nocks on and off.
