since i just got my first bow..i don't plan on anything past 30..and believe it or not i don't care how big the deer is....i'm going to keep shooting until i get comfortable at close ranges, then i'll slowly work my way back. but not until i get VERY good with 20 yds.

i'm planning on going to bass pro with schrier bucks in council bluffs this saturday and shooting some there. if i get one before youth season..or even during it i will most likely try my luck then.

i am 15...and have been shotgun hunting for 4 years. this past summer, a friend of mine introduced me to bow hunting and now i'm in search of a bow before this upcoming season. i was wondering what bows you would suggest for a beginner. schrier bucks suggested a parker..maybe a wildfire...

being a youth(15) i only have 17 days until i can go......i'm having trouble sleeping already in anticipation...man i can't wait!

living on a farm in iowa, and my father knowing a few people, we were able to purchase 13 buffalo and raise them in our pasture. word got around and soon we were getting calls from people in council bluffs and omaha wanting to come out and shoot them with either a bow, a pistol, or a high...

my biggest was a 27 inch pike off a lake in minnesota.....also, 2 of my brothers go to iowa state.
