I have had good luck with weather.com the hour by hour selection and check it as close as possible to when your headed out. Usually pretty close shows within the hour expected change of wind direction.

Would you guys try the decoy now or wait another week? I have had the catch22 scenarios in the past: If the buck is alone he will come to the decoy, if chasing does the does won't come near the decoy therefore the buck does not come near... Any rules of thumb when to try the decoy..

There is a CRP area that has some great scrapes one the size of a kitchen table! I dont have a good spot with the North wind unfortunately to get in there....Could try the spot I was in the rain which is east of the scrapes but it also blows my scent out over a larger fresh cut bean field...

I have the gerber carnivore, imo it makes a better flashlight than bloodtracker. I can't see the blood in bloodtracker mode and I am not colorblind. I would like to the new primos in action.
