    Scores? Shooters????

They both look to be at least 3.5, big necks and bellys. I think 125-130 on the first and mid 130's on the second because I can't see how wide he is.

    two new biggins

Not bad, he has got to be at least 20" wide. If he is a 10 pt, I am guessing around 150-155

    Brassicas

I think I'm the boat where the deer don't know what to do. Hopefully, once we get a nice cold snap (come on colder weather) the deer will wake up to the new food source. At least they have plenty of clover, chicory, standing corn and beans, winter rye, oats and apples to keep them busy.

First time out huntin this year

I own my own land and still put locks on all of my hang on stands just in case some of neighbors stray a little too far. I would rather be over protective than to see that one of my stand has been ripped off. I feel for you brother and would probably not hesitate cutting his tree down either.

    When do brassicas become sweet?

How cold does it have to get for brassicas to change and become sweet? We just had our first frost here in upstate new york, it got down to 33 and will do so again tonight. My property is on top of a ridge and it usually gets cooler out there. I was wondering what your experience is with the...

    Gonna get some water...

While I wish I was able to hunt in Iowa, I live in upstate New York and have to make due. Anyways, my dad bought 160 acres close to where we live last year that was a nice piece of hunting property but needed some TLC. I planted a bunch of food plots with the help of advice from dbltree and...

    ATV's - couple questions

I would go with EFI. I bought a used Kawasaki Prairie 700 for 3500 with 900 miles on it last year and it has been used a ton on the farm pulling a disc, spreader etc. If you are going to be putting in decent sized plots go with the bigger unit.

    Truth Cam 35 issue

The batteries say 70% right now. I may try changing them out and adjusting the settings to see if it will work. I was working when I first put it out and the other one I have works great.

    Cereal Grains and cover crops

Can broadcast winter rye into an existing clover field in March or April and left to mature so that the clover plot would eventually be able to take advantage of the alleopathic properties of the rye or would it better to just spary the clover plot with Arrow, Poast or some other grass selective...
