A couple of years ago my dad shot a nice 8. It looked like a pretty good shot but maybe a tad low. We followed a blood trail that looked like a running blood faucet for a few hundred yards and just dried up. Come to find out, my buddy has sheds from the last two years from the buck a mile away!

I appreciate everyone's insight. I've been shooting a couple dozen arrows a day with my eyes closed so I can concentrate on my release. It seams to really be helping.

I'm from Burlington, originally. There are a couple outfitters in the area, that I know of. Timberghost Ranch is one and they have a few thousand acres leased for open hunts. The other is Irish Ridge Outfitters, they also have some really good properties leased.
