Just wanted to pass a long Lee and Tiffany's Live Deer Cam, it's a 24 hour feed...It's been fun to watch and pass some time at work...

There seems to be quite a bit activity throughout the day.
I would suggest using AdBlock Plus, free extension for Google Chrome browser...say goodbye to all ads....Works great, especially if you frequent Youtube.
Taking off Friday, and going to try and sit as much as possible. I finally have a free weekend so I'm going to make the most of it. Really looking forward to Sunday...wish I could take Monday off.
Just curious how many tags everyone gets a year for all seasons for deer?
Me personally I get a tag for bow and shotgun. Then rotate a doe tag every year between bow and shot gun. So hopefully 3 deer total a year.
I whole heartily agree that any day in the stand, is better that anything else!
I was only able to get out the first weekend in OCT then most likely this will be my last weekend for bow hunting, so I was just curious.. Plan on doing an all day sit Fri/Sat/Sun
I was looking at the 7 day forecast for central Iowa and the high looks like it will be around 70 for this weekend. Lows still look like they will dip to anywhere from 50s into the 30s. How is this going to impact deer movement with it heating up? Or won't it matter much?
I think a lot of it has to do whether or not you are on your own land or private land with little pressure.
I don't have the chance very often to hunt land that is not hunted by dozens of other hunters, so I can honestly say I probably would not have passed it up. Congrats on the discipline of...
Granted I haven't seen what the deer looks like, but I would at least attempt to get the straps and the shoulders. Should be just fine after you cook/grill them.
Correct, that's where I would be...Not sure what you are able to do with the property but maybe next year put a food plot in? A nice little food plot there, could be deadly for deer. I hope to hear some success stories from you!
If it were my choice I would be setting up around that pasture on the right side of the picture (east side?) I think you had some good positions there. You may just have to play around and see. Try setting up some trail cameras to find the best advantage points
I've got about 16 hours in over the course of 3 days from 5-7 OCT. 1 Doe down, missed on a great 8 point. Probably saw close to 25 deer, a lot of young bucks and does. Had about 6 within range.
