I am currently shooting a 22-250 with a Nikon 3-9x40 Buckmasters on it for my coyote gun. I love the scope but I dont think I have quite enough power for some of the longer range shots. Just curious what everyone else has on their varmint rifles for a scope???
I filled my final antlerless tag this morning. This doe makes 6 on the year with the bow. Check out the damage done by the Rage 2 blade!

I planted the BIOMAXX with some success this year. The corn did great the beans did not do so well. I just dont think a guy can plant enough because it has been gone for some time now. I also drilled in some buck forage oats and the covered with the buck forage chicory. The oats came in great...
I let mine run for 6 months and figured it was time to replace them. They say you should be able to get 8 months to a year out of them. Better to be safe then sorry.
I have a ridge on my farm approximately 10-15 acre area that was over logged before we purchased the farm. It now holds very few trees of any value or that benefit deer. I am considering whiping about 75% of the trees out of this ridge. Essentially creating a bedding area and planting a...
I know the landowner topic was addressed in a previous post but I thought this is a little bit different topic so I will start a new one. I recieved the papers today to apply for the landowners tag. I am a little disappointed with my findings. I am over the age of 18 and the son of a...
I am not real sure about this one. I have had a camera over the same mineral hole for about 3 months now and I get the same bucks every single week I check it. One of which is a 130"+ deer that will stand for multiple pictures night and day. On the other hand I have been getting a few...
I know I have read somewhere that it is perfectly legal in Iowa to spotlight deer as long as no weapon is involved. Is there any more rules/regulations that I should be aware of before I give it a shot? Thanks.
I have been getting pictures of this buck consistantly for the last 2 months. It sure has been fun to watch him grow. However, I dont think he is gonna quite be big enough to harvest this fall. Lets hear your best guess on what his age is and what he will score. Thanks
I know this topic has been addressed several times. For some reason it seems like something has changed or I am doing something wrong. Could someone let me know how to post pics on this sight again? THANKS!
The only thing that I have really noticed from the heat is the sensing ability of the cameras. Other then that she deer seem to be moving the same around me.
Arrow_Smith, well I narrowed my results down to a martin bow because I have a dealer about 2 miles from me which makes it convenient. Secondly the Slayer and the Razor X are right around the price range that I am willing to spend. Also they seem to be a little heavier bow then some that martin...
I have decided to get a new martin bow. Right now I am debating between the Razor X or the Slayer. Any opinions good or bad on both would be great! Thanks.
I use the deer cocaine black magic. It seems to work extremely well as an attractant. As far as increasing rack size I dont know if there is really any way to tell.
I have the same problem with a moultrie of mine. I dont think it is quite as bad as your problem but it definately affected my camera. I had about 80 pictures that where just blank. I dont know if the ants are somehow triggering it or what... I had to file a small groove for my solar panel...
I am in the market for a new 1 pin bow sight. The Trophy Ridge Mantis Series Pendulum sight caught my eye. Just curious if someone could explain to me more about what "pendulum" is referring to and how it works. Thanks.
I would love to post the pics but I am still unable to get them shrunk to the proper size. I will have to spend some time and see what I can come up with.
