Not sure if there is anyone on here that lives near Louisville, KY or would be in the area in late January, but I am going to be speaking (4 seminars) at the Louisville KY Deer and Turkey Expo on Jan. 30, 31 and Feb. 1st. For most or all you guys on here it'd be a total waste of time to listen...

I've never entered anything I've ever shot. The vast majority would make book, but I see no point in entering any of them.........

I check my heads throughout the season and resharpen as needed. I sharpen my heads by hand, because I don't think they come sharp enough...

He's old and I wouldn't anticipate a large bump in antler growth. Stress level will decide it he adds or losses antler growth next year.... 5.5 years old or older........

I've got to be honest. I don't know any insurance guys going around shooting deer to lower the deer population. Hunters are they ones controlling the population. It's our job to back off if numbers are getting below levels we enjoy hunting at....

I read it last night and hadn't got a chance to post it. Great article! And he's dead right in my opinion. Some guys don't care about the future of hunting, but hopefully there is enough of us to make a difference!

This is the first year I've felt like Kentucky slid down the hill some. Very few big bucks killed and harvested numbers down 25 to 30 percent across the state........

Pushers should never carry guns and you should only hunt with people you trust your life with. I've never did a deer drive and prolly won't.

Great buck! I don't think it's a 3.5 yr old. Lot of people are clueless on aging deer! That deer is mature!
