    Nice to see some new oaks (any oaks) growing. Only have burr/ reds here and they don't stand a chance (new growth). They get browsed on and killed before they reach 12".

    The word " Brassicas" has gotten way too watered down over the years. Radishes n turnips are considered " brassicas " but if planted at the same time, the radishes will get POUNDED long before the turnips.

    Deck stain recommendations

    Finished a 16x16 cedar deck today. I'll build them but staining them is on them. They asked what I'd recommend for a clear coat type to keep the natural look. I really don't know? Something that will keep it from fading yet enhance the beauty of cedar. Any advice from this crowd?
