Is it a big 8? Looks huge (over 150 at least huge) but the pic is realllly blurry.
It mat be due to my problem with IAwhitetail too. Pics never show for me but this one let me click a link
I never have given him corn. He has to travel a fair distance to get to the nearest corn field, too.
I forgot to point out the broken ear. That makes him pretty cool IMO.
I've been meaning to post this one for a bit but haven't. He is a new comer and looks decently old. I have a pretty good idea, but I enjoy guessing others deer so score guess it if you want to.
This guy will get an arrow and if not, I'll be just as happy to see what happens with him next year. The first pic looks amazing to me
This buck looks cool. I like how he has three brows.
There were two big sixes and a little eight too. Also got a fawn
His tines are still going to grow as you can see. I looked and the correct date is one month behind what it says. I guess his tines are so big it's taking him a while to develop them lol
I'm 99% sure it is the same buck 2012-2013 I have 1000's of pics of him. This year I'm still 98% sure. The difference is just antler growth. Here he is in 2013 with almost identical antlers as 2012.. Just a little bigger.
The only weird thing is the shorter left brow, BUT the 98% surety...
This is without a doubt my favorite buck (killed or not) of all time. Not because he is big but because I have so much history with him and more pics of him than any other deer.
2012
2013
2014
I know my target buck from last year is the one I have been getting growth pics of, but right now trail camera pics just aren't the same. I prefer anytime from full velvet growth to right before they shed!
There is not a single antler characteristic that indicates a deer's age. That is biologically proven. Also what you've seen or have not seen doesn't matter either. Not many people have seen a 200" 3.5 year old, but they have been killed. Eye damage is also not representative of a deer's age...
Thanks guys. I'm pretty excited about 2014. I lost the property that the smaller velvet buck was on, but I found a public land spot that will make up for it. I'm excited to look for antlers on it. I'll be sure to post whatever I find there in the shed forum.
I know people that know him personally. They all say he is a really nice guy, but I wouldn't want anything to do with him nice or not. He certainly isn't the smartest guy.
