I`d have to say i`m pretty satisfied...so far. I`ve only had it a week though.

Here`s a pic from the plot watcher cam, overlooking my first food plot of clover(and some ferns) there was some buckwheat in there also, but it was mowed down before it ever got a chance.

Don`t know what he`d score but those sure are some strange markings on it`s face, shoulder and upper back...never seen that before

Can someone tell me the planting depth and amount of seed per acre for buckwheat? feed store where i bought the buckwheat said 75lbs/acre and 1/4" deep...does this sound right?

Thanks dbltree...can you also elaborate on why the buckwheat would be a better option? Is it that it will mature faster or disc under easier? The reason i keep asking about the rye is because of the beautiful pic i seen in the clover section...thanks again
