    Hinge Cutting

We were proud to get to share some knowledge just a few weeks ago on hinge cutting with The Management Advantage. So much emphasis is put on food plots. They take a ton of time, preparation, and money to be successful. Don't get me wrong, they have their part and we plant them, but there are...

    What's your harvest criteria

http://themanagementadvantage.com/home/new-friends/ In this video a lady shoots a 6.5 year old buck. The deer only scores 130, but that's a good deer for Alabama. I would love to have enough land to let deer try to get to 6.5, but it would be nearly impossible on just 150 acres because of the...

Food plots in harvest ag fields

Has anyone broadcast radishes or other food plot seed on harvested corn? Many farmers don't want to take part of fields out of production for food plots, but broadcasting some radishes in the corn stubble can benefit the deer, the hunter, and the farmer. They showed it here in this video...

The reason why trail cameras spook deer

I had occasionally put cameras higher up a tree to cut down on false pictures. For instance near a field edge with standing crops. Point it down to cover the edge really cut down on false pictures. You have to get the angle right to cover the trail. After this, we know to always set them higher!

The reason why trail cameras spook deer

Check out the latest episode of Reality Deer Management and see the results of an experiment we did as to why trail cameras spook deer. It might surprise some of you. It was cool to see how the deer reacted to different methods of placing the camera. http://youtu.be/XVQUSR5BdIk

Reality Deer Management-Ep. 6 Whitetail Doe Management

One of the key elements of managing your property is controlling the number of deer you feed. The more competition there is for food, the less there is to go around. By taking a number of does off your property, you allow your bucks to get the nutrition they need to reach their maximum...

All the hard work pays off in the episode of Reality Deer Management. Good friend Preston Brust, of LoCash Cowboys, came to hunt the early archery season here in Ohio. After four hard days of hunting, it all came together on the last hunt during the last hour. An awesome 140 class whitetail was...

Reality Deer Management Ep. 4-Attracting and Holding Big Bucks

http://youtu.be/yUthMzyFyfw We recently received a call from Dave Skinner of Covert Scouting Cameras regarding one of their farms. The farm was filled with does, but the mature bucks were few and far between. The Covert team wanted some tips on how make their property more attractive to big...

Listing is gone already. Have you used that disk before? I'm tired of the rear tine tiller tackling an acre food plots and might upgrade next year to a pull behind disk.
