Im just curious how many of you brave the weather after the gun seasons and bow hunt if you havent filled your tag. With time winding down, I still havent filled my bow tag. I plan on continuing up untill first shotgun, but I was just wondering how hunting is after the gun seasons are over?
Get some lone wolf sticks or Big Game stagger steps. Bring them in and take them out when you leave. I doubt someone would carry in sticks to steal a stand. I do this on all my public ground stands

Well here they are. I let a stand in the middle of a bunch scrapes. I put out a camera and just pulled the card this afternoon. I'm liking what I see so far. Everyone of these deer are within 15-20yrds from my stand. So what do you think these would score? Hopefully they will make a daylight stroll

I'm with Muddy on this one. All my public land stands require you to carry in sticks if you want to hunt them. I just carry them in with me and out when I leave. I also like the idea I heard of locking the stand in an upward postion. Just carry a key in and unlock it. Pull it down and climb in...
Im assuming you went to Briar and Bow since its the only pro shop I know of in Sioux City. Ritch is great. I bought my first bow there last year. He answered all my questions, helped me pick a bow and provides me with shooting tips whenever needed. Highly recommended. Top notch service
