Ok...so Im stuck with other commitments this week and cannot get back to the stand until next wednesday (11th). What are the chances Im going to hit the bucks in Iowa while they are on lock down? How long does lock down typically last? I hate not being able to get out this week!

Buck down! Went out the morning of Nov 1 after passing up a nice mature 8 the night before. Right away in the morning I had activity, with a young 8 passing directly under my tree stand. Not 20 minutes later, I heard a grunt coming from behind me. A doe and buck had jumped a fence and were...

you know there is a buck back in the weeds watching this...with a beer and a smile.....

haven't seen any of them moving yet......good and bad news is that the rut is coming...they will start moving...but will they move out of the area all together! i sure hope not....

i just love looking at everybody's trail cam pics...it never gets old!

well, until i did a card pull last week...the drop tine was the ONLY one i was going to hold out for...but, the one that showed up last week kind of made me rethink that a bit. but...drop tine is target 1 and the other is target 1A :)

I cant eat or mount these pics though...Im just hoping that they start moving in the daylight soon....before they run themselves out of the area chasing a hot doe..... at least having these pics help me to "keep my eye on the ball" lol

any hints? i uploaded them to my gallery....when i made this thread i clicked on the camera and selected the pics.....and in the base of my thread it shows [img/img}, etc..... ???

ok...thought i knew how to post a pic...apparently not! ugh....
