Paul, the crop oil I got was 83% phytobland paraffinic oil and 15% alkylphenol ethoxylate. What's your recommendation. I want it to burn the grasses but not the brassicas. Again in a 4 gal backpack sprayer
Dbltree, I'm having some rye resprout in my brassica plot. What mix rate would you recommend for clethodim in a 4 gallon backpack sprayer? I need amount of clethodim and amount of crop oil. Thanks!
Being down here in the deep south (Alabama), we obviously have our own circumstances to deal with when planting. We don't usually get the very cold weather and our first frosts are way later than the guys in the north, therefore allowing us to plant about 4-6 later than y'all normally plant...
Paul I was sure you probably had, but I honestly didn't remember if you had commented before on it. I sorta figured it would tiller like wheat. I think I'll just stick with rye.
Paul, I know you like using rye and oats, but have you experimented much with triticale? Just wondered if the root system mimicked rye or wheat. I didn't know if it got stemmy like wheat does when it came time to clip it off
Trev, that's 10 gallons total per acre right? The chart was a little confusing as it had me thinking that each tip was going to put out roughly 10 gallons per acre at 30 psi and 5 mph. So I was thinking it was gonna put down 10 gal x 7 tips= 70 gallons.
Brassicas- Type?
Paul, the only Brassicas that I can seem to find locally that aren't in a fancy bag ar the type called "soilbuster." I'm gonna provide a link to the description. Please tell me your thoughts and if they would do well in the brassic plot.
