Aerial drone survey- Deer not bedding in Switchgrass Late season

The switch I planted 3 yrs ago is thicker than the hair on a dogs back in most areas…some thinner spots here & there and even a few tiny openings. But not many. While I haven’t scoured every inch of it (I have ~15 acres of switch in a few blocks from 1 acre to 5+ acres) I don’t see near the...

    Economical Tractor/UTV GPS Tracking System

Hmmm… sometimes the written word can be interpreted many different ways. My take away from the various messages here isn’t that there’s a “right or wrong way” but there are various techniques (especially in the world of a food plotter) that work just fine, depending on the goals of the person...

    Economical Tractor/UTV GPS Tracking System

No, not a stupid question at all. The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked. That’s why we’re all here on this forum…to get answers to our questions!

    Real world deadly dozen

FWIW, Paul Knox used to tell me to never mix my brassicas with cereal grains. Not saying I never did, but his opinion was it’s a no no. Planting brassicas in the same spot year after year can lead to some problems. His opinion was either split the plot or do strips of each then rotate the...

    Pollinators wildflowers mix

Clethodim will kill the grasses and as long as you stay at or below 4oz/acre, is safe on wildflowers.

    Driveway Herbicide

What recommendations do you guys have for a non selective, long lasting residual control, as environmentally friendly as possible, driveway herbicide? I won’t be applying massive amounts of it, but would like good/great residual in my barn driveway and house driveway - both are gravel. Thanks...

    Pond bank herbicide

Might be another viable option. I’ve used it on my lawn in the past with great success, but to your original point, not sure I’d want to have too much 2,4-D or Dicamba dripping into my pond.

    Pond bank herbicide

Not sure of efficacy as I’ve never tried it, but many swear by a mix of white vinegar, salt, and dish soap as a sticker. Might be worth a shot on a patch of it before applying chemicals.

Wait until DSM catches wind of this

All other states should make that reciprocal. If you’re an OK resident and you’re going to be hunting any public ground, you need to buy a $100 public land stamp or pay a steep fine.

    AMS Help

Here’s what I kept getting. First tank went thru fine. Second tank kept doing this non stop. Every time I’d clean the screens, turn the pump back on, I had instant clogs at the screens. When I have time, I’ll post some articles I found that explain. Been using flake AMS for many years, but...
