Thanks. It seems like a certainty we’ll get rain within the week and I have time tonight. I know that’s not how it works with urea but I’m almost positive it’s AMS based as you said.
Can I broadcast 20-10-10 onto 6 week old brassicas with rains in the forecast later this week? I dont want to burn them. I know Urea needs rain within 24 hours but this is not Urea based it was just a general 20-10-10 and the 20 was Ammonium something based.
I’ve got some brassicas that are probably a touch too thick and a little stunted… just hit them with some more fertilizer before a rain so I’ll see how they bounce back.
The thing I’m not sure of, if they’re still stunted and weirdly colored — should I just overseed rye on Labor Day? I wasn’t...

Does anyone have a good source for soil temps by area? I’ve found a few through a simple google search and they’re all so variable that I can’t make any sense of what it really is. When it says switchgrass needs a soil temp of 55 to germ, how is that measured? Surely when we hit a 65 and sunny...
