I live in Webster County and i was wondering if anybody in north central iowa has been finding any shed antlers, i've been out once but i haven't seen a deer with an antler off.

I shot a doe in the third week of October. Made a good heart shot at 10 yards and she looped around and died about 8 yards away, it was my first deer killed with bow. Can't wait til next year

I shoot a Mossberg Trophy Slugster 12 ga.,with a simmons scope, it'll be my first year using a 12 ga., i've used a 16 gauge with scope, and a rifled barrel, it was very accurate for the hunting i've been doing 2nd shotgun season, really good for a tree stand, really accurate.

My dad was working out in the country, when he saw a pretty nice buck chasing a doe around out in a field section, good sign that the rut is still on, just try to get them before opening day of the shotgun season, good luck!
