Shot a banded mallard a few years back on the Kankakee/Yellow river area in NW Indiana. Certificate came back stating that the bird was banded in Stuggart(sp?) Arkansas. It was reported to be 8 years old. (buddies said he was old, slow and partially blind...only way I was able to hit him.)
