This Weekend a friend of mine and I went out on Sunday to a local lake to pitch some plastics and caught the first of the 2 which weighed 4.5 lbs on a dropshot. Then I didn't get enough I guess and we hit a private farm pond Monday evening and caught this nice female weighing 6 lbs on a dropshot also. The bite sure seems to be picking up down here in southwest Iowa, hows the bite in other areas of the Hawkeye state? Here are some pics enjoy!!!
