Well I finally got around to mounting the buck I shot last November. Partly because I am going to take this buck to County fair since this is going to my be my last year (going on to college). I figured I would share it with all of you. I made the base from two shed antlers. I think it came together pretty well.
For those of you wanting to know. 16 scoreable points, even though it shows 11. Not sure what the exact score is though /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

Well I must say it is different, I like it.

Do you have any photos showing some different angles? Has the skull its self been air brushed?

I do have different angles. I will try to get them up tonight or tomorrow morning. I had it sit in boiling water for about 4 hours then pretty much took the hair off with pliers. I then took a wire brush to the skull to get off all that other good stuff. Ha lets hope it doesn't start to stink /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
 
Picture from the backside. I was kinda worried about the skull showing on the back but I read through the steps and it showed a picture of the skull showing in the back so I just went along with it. I will try to get more pictures tonight if they have it on display by then.
