Inaugural Iowa Bowhunters Association Shoot-Out
Second Leg
July 17-18
Hosted by the Mid-Iowa Archers
Indianola, Izaak Walton League
This is the Inaugural year for this three leg 3D tournament. It is being hosted by three different 100% Iowa Bowhunters Association Clubs across the state of Iowa. There are awards given to the top three places in 8 different classes for men, women, and children. The Mid-Iowa Archers have a beautiful 40 target 3D course featuring Delta Targets. We feature a 16’ tower to shoot out of, a ground pit to shoot out of, and lots of up and down shots through the timber, and a 60-yard warm-up range. There will be great food served all weekend long, $1.00 raffles for Antelope hunts at Cowboy Country Outfitters in South Dakota, and signing up new members to the Mid-Iowa Archers, Iowa Bowhunters Association, and Iowawhitetail.com.
We will have Central Iowa Archery, The Tackle Shack, Archery Field & Sports, Iowa Bowhunters Association, and Outdoor Dan present to promote the club, and showcase their merchandise for sale. Also on hand will be the Iowa DNR to answer any questions that people have, and to hand out hunting rules and regulations.
Our club is growing rapidly; we have over 150 members now. We just launched our website, www.MIDIOWAARCHERS.COM. Yearly dues for the club are just $30.00 for individual, and $40.00 for the whole family. This includes your membership to the Iowa Bowhunters Association. We offer our club members shooting discounts on lane fees at the archery shops, specials throughout the year, discounts on club shoots, and the fact that you are supporting the top organization that is fighting for your hunting rights in the state of Iowa. Saturday 8 am – 3 pm
Sunday 8 am – 1 pm
Directions:
Take Highway 65/69 south through Indianola. 4 miles south of Indianola take a right at the Aquabi State Park turn off. There will be plenty of signs directing you to the course.
