After a long youth season trying to get a turkey for my 8 year old and a different nephew, and trying to tag one with a bow second season, and the first weekend of fourth season full of rain and thunderstorms my nephew and I finally tagged a double on Saturday.
His bird has a 10 1/4 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs.
Mine has a 9 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs.
This is the third year that he has hunted with me and the third gobbler he has shot. I'm going to take him bow hunting next year, maybe I will have better luck
