Seemed like last year, we were reading about alot of big boys on the ground across the country by this time. Seemed like this was the website with the first news on alot of last years bigguns.

So where's all the stories and pics of the monster whitetails? Is nobody whacking big bucks this October? What about Canada? I know Kaare has posted some beauties, but I figured we would have seen a few more bigguns by now.
 
i wonder if the warmer weather has surpressed the activity some and the deer are not as active.....
i dunno,
i suspect after we see our first cold snap and the closer the rut gets, we will be seeing more deer hit the dirt....
 
actually my deer activity has increased tenfold since last tuesday. But I am nore of a lover than a killer.
 
i think it's been about the same as usual... not much happens from youth season through the first couple weeks of october. another few days and things will happen.
