Any news on the Albia buck? I had heard rumors he was hit by a car in November and also that his rack was not as good this year because of being hit by a slug last year????

No news of the deer being harvested. The rumor about the buck being hit by a car is false. Also, I have heard that the sheds from this spring were found, and are just now being shown around town. I have also heard that the rack this year is far from the previous year. One side is similiar and the other is a blob of points with no typical frame. Just what I have heard.

I heard that the Albia buck will be taking Rudolphs place at the front of Santa's sleigh this Christmas. I've placed my stand on the downwind side of the chimney in hopes of a shot...It'd be worth a stocking full of coal! The only problem would be that most flying things land into the wind, I'll have to wear my supprecent suit and use some cover scent.
