A friend sent this to me and I thought it was worth sharing.



AMERICA'S HUNTING ARMY

Pretty Amazing!

A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion: There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin...

Allow me to restate that number: 600,000!

Over the last several months, Wisconsin 's hunters became the 8th largest army in the world.

(That’s more men under arms than in Iran. More than France and Germany combined.)

These men, deployed to the woods of a single American state, Wisconsin, to hunt with firearms, And NO ONE WAS KILLED.

That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania's and Michigan's 700,000 hunters,
ALL OF WHOM HAVE RETURNED HOME SAFELY.

Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world. And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states. It's millions more.

America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower!
Hunting... it's not just a way to fill the freezer. It's also a matter of national security.

That's why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed. Food for thought, when next we consider gun control. Overall it's true, so if we disregard some assumptions that hunters don't possess the same skills as soldiers, the question would still remain...

What army of 2 million would want to face 30 million, 40 million, or 50 million armed citizens???

For the sake of our freedom, don't ever allow gun control or confiscation of guns.

(If you agree, as I do, pass it on, I feel good that I have an army of millions who would protect our land, and I sure don't want the government taking control of the possession of firearms.)

Come on- we need major gun control people!! Look how well it's worked in our Liberal Utopias!!!.... Chicago maybe the best example in the country!!!! Extreme gun control on masses that vote overwhelmingly Liberal and I'm going to imagine most of them have never hunted a day in their lives. What a well controlled peaceful environment that's the poster-child example of combining heavy gun restrictions with a Liberal population.... Only about 300-500 murders a month in Chicago (depending on month and data source) That's it. The rest of the country should follow this model. Replicated in every city!!! Something is wrong with data on hunters with guns. I have to imagine 200,000+ hunters kill each other each season. Above couldn't be right. Hillary & I are in the same camp and u clowns need a heck of lot more restrictions than you have now. I'll be at Obama's event tomorrow that will be in Chicago to promote what great gun control can really do!! Thankfully the elites have armed masses to protect them. But u guys shouldn't. Hillary 2016!!

Gun control goes beyond our streets when it comes to our liberal friends. Our international enemies have battle plans for us as we do for them in case of conflict. One major hurdle for our enemies is our armed population in addition to our military. We need to maintain that threat. Progressives wish to eliminate our ability to war and protect ourselves.

Ya, oops, only 80- that's all. I accidentally put "murders & shooting incidents" together which was in the 100's. Packing my bags & moving to Chicago where it's safe. This Iowa gang activity is too much for me. On to the safety of the Windy-City, peace out...

He's referring to what massive gun control does or actually doesn't do... help with Murders. Chicago was an example I gave where guns are taken away or majorly restricted from the people and the crime & murder rates are insane.

It's interesting to see or hear of really zero or few murders across areas I'm in in Iowa where conceal/carry permits are everywhere I look (I'm not using that as a stat, just areas I'm in around my farms, it's a non-issue across vast areas of state & likely subdues crime). Armed folks sure didn't create the mess the Liberals would like to make it sound. On the reverse side of that, look at the areas Liberals are able to pass the laws they would like (chicago), murders and gun crimes through the roof. I couldn't take my Iowa concealed carry permit to Chicago, carry a gun and protect myself. They'd require I disarm and if something happened, they'd advocate calling 911.
