I shot him on election day, Nov. 2nd at 3:30pm. I rattled him in about 3:25 pm that day. He responded to the antlers, not aggressively, but he came in looking. 30 yards broadside, ran about 50-75 yards.
I hunted a different stand earlier that morning and saw a few deer but they were not moving much until after 10:00am. I changed stands about 2:00pm to cover a funnel, once the wind direction settled down and stayed from the north . I rattled in one other small 8 point that afternoon before the one I shot came in.
