Any Ideas?

I know this isn't deer hunting related, but my mom found this rock when we were building our house. It fits in my palm perfectly and has 2 big craters in it, one on top and one at the base of the rock. It definitely looks like it was an idian artifact, just wondering what you guys thought, and what it may be?

That's a really interesting find there Liv. I've been surfing the net trying to find some answers but so far the only thing I've turned up is this:

Pretty similar find by a woman in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately she's in the same boat as you and is trying to find out what it is. You could try emailing her though at the address on the page. Maybe someone has given her the answer. I'll look some more...

I'm gonna guess that it's either a paint bowl or a pipe that didn't get finished. Check this link for lots of pictures of Indian stone artifacts and see what your guess is:
