Anyone from Minnesota?

My wife and I will be taking a trip to Hinckley next week. We're celebrating our anniversary, and I was wondering what there is to do around that area? Museums, Parks, Shopping(wife), etc....

I'm not from Minnesota, but I saw a deal the other day on TV about the Pope and Young museum in Chatfield. Personally it's on my "list of stuff see someday".

Of course, if this is an anniversary trip, the Mrs. might not want any part of that! And you know the old saying about "If mama ain't happy..."

If you are going up Interstate 35 there is a Cabelas in Owatonna and a huge outlet mall just north of Cabelas about 3 miles. Both of you will be able to get your shoppin fix in.

I went to the fire museum, thought it was overrated. Casino is fun. Colors, should be good though. Have fun in our lovely state.

Thanks everyone. My wife's sister and her family live in Wyoming, MN (North of Forest Lake), the furthest north we've been is North Branch, to the outlets. We'd like to hit Duluth, how far is that from Hinckley?

Duluth is about 90 min north of Hinkley.
