Arrow noise

I got bored the other night & recorded some target practice to see if my camera might catch some crazy arrow flight. I never got any footage of flight but when I put the camera about 4' away from the target I recorded some noise of the flight. I wonder if a deer can hear this when the arrow is on its way. Is this why deer sometimes jump or duck the arrow as it gets to them? Anyways, I found it interesting. There are 2 videos.

Put the camera on top of the target facing you once. I bet it won't be as noticeable. From the side or as the arrow goes over it is pretty noisy. When it is coming straight at you, I haven't ever really noticed anything. Don't ask me how I know. :0 That is an awesome video though, thanks for sharing.

How far are you shooting from?

I've always thought that they are reacting to the arrow, and not the bow. If you stand 30 yards away from someone shooting a bow, you almost always here the "whizz" of the arrow and not the bow. (Unless it's an ELITE).:D

Yep the difference is amazing. Cool vid:way:

You want to hear some real noise put some spin fltetches on.

At a shoot there was a guy behind us shooting them. I swear you could hear them 100 yards away.

I tell you what else is amazing is if you shoot a blazer and stand to the side you can hear the Whizzing noise. Now if you shoot a 4 or 5 inch vane that sound is greatly amplified. I couldn't believe the difference in noise. Coming at you was a little louder to but maybe I was too scared to hear them coming at me LOL.
